In outdoor or exposed environments, locking solutions must combine durability, reliability, and resistance to harsh weather. CDVI’s stainless steel electromagnetic locks are designed to meet all these requirements. Built to last, they ensure secure locking while integrating seamlessly into modern installations.

Resistant to harsh environments

CDVI’s stainless steel outdoor locks are built to withstand the most demanding conditions: humidity, rain, dust, salty air, or temperature fluctuations. Made from stainless steel (AISI 304 or 316 depending on the model), they offer excellent corrosion resistance, making them ideal for coastal, industrial, or highly exposed areas.

Electromagnetic operation

These locks operate on a simple principle: when the power is off, the door is free to open. When powered, the magnet attracts the armature plate and securely holds the door closed. This system is perfectly suited to installations exposed to tough weather conditions.

Reliable and powerful security with outdoor electromagnetic lock

CDVI’s models provide a strong holding force, up to 500 kg depending on the version. Each unit includes a status monitoring contact (NO/NC), making it easy to integrate into an access control system.

High protection and durability

With a high IP rating (up to IP68), these stainless steel magnets are fully sealed against water and dust. They are designed for long-term outdoor use without the risk of failure due to environmental factors.

Ideal for multiple use cases

Supplied with optional mounting brackets for surface installation, these locks adapt to a wide range of use cases: exterior gates, residential complexes, parking facilities, emergency exits, technical rooms, or sensitive sites such as data centers or water treatment stations. Wherever robustness and security are critical, these locks provide a reliable and long-lasting solution.

A modern alternative to mechanical locks

Unlike traditional mechanical locks, electromagnetic locks offer silent operation, remote control capabilities, and faster response in emergency situations. They integrate naturally into modern security systems while simplifying maintenance.
